Alpine Solitaire is an exciting Tripeaks game where you discard adjacent cards, use wild cards wisely, and draw when you can't move on to conquer each round.
In Alpine Solitaire, you are challenged to discard two entire mountains of cards that are laid out at the beginning of the game. Only cards with a value adjacent to the card currently at the bottom can be selected, requiring you to calculate and move skillfully to win, which is also the way when you play Wanted: Gin Rummy.
This means that the card you want to discard must be exactly one number higher or lower than the current card at the bottom. For example, if the bottom card is a 7, you can only discard a 6 or an 8 from the mountains.
You can use wild cards at any time to replace adjacent cards in case you cannot find a suitable move on the board or want to create a tactical advantage for yourself. Using wild cards wisely will help you get out of deadlock situations, but you should not overuse them as it will lower your score.
When you cannot remove any more cards on the mountains, the game will allow you to draw a new card from the waiting deck to replace the card in the bottom position. However, note that the more cards you draw from the waiting deck, the more your final bonus points will decrease, so try to limit your card draws and know how to optimize the existing cards to achieve high scores.
When you complete the game before the specified time, in addition to the fixed score you will receive, you will also have the opportunity to receive additional bonuses. For example, if you complete the game before 5 minutes, you will be awarded 20 points, the faster you complete the game, the higher the number of points you will receive.
If you do not use wild cards or use very few in a round, you will receive a Wild Card Bonus. This reward honors the ingenuity and subtle tactics of knowing how to take advantage of regular cards instead of relying on wild cards.
Round Bonus will be calculated based on the number of consecutive games you pass. This is a reward for persistent players, continuously conquering increasingly difficult challenges of the game.
