Explore the hard version of Spider Solitaire Two Suits
The objective of the game is to arrange all the cards in descending order from K to A in the same suit, and then remove them from the table. This is a two suit version inspired by Spider Solitaire with a completely new challenge experience where you only need to care about two suits instead of four, but still have to:
- Arrange the cards in descending order from K to A
- Clear the table where when a complete set of cards from K to A of the same suit is placed, it is automatically removed from the table.
- Use a move strategy that can move descending sequences of cards of the same suit, or temporarily mix them up to free up another card.
- Complete all the decks when the entire deck is cleared, you win the game.
New rules
Arrange all 104 cards with 2 standard decks into descending sequences from K to A in the same suit, then remove them from the table, especially when all cards are cleared, you win the game.
Setting up the table
- There are 10 columns of tableau cards
- The first 4 columns have 6 cards, the next 6 columns have 5 cards.
- Only the top card of each column is turned face up.
- The rest form the stock pile, which can be drawn when needed.
Smart way to move cards
Move individual cards or a series if they are of the same suit and in descending order. You can temporarily place cards of different suits on top of each other, as long as they are in descending order. Only sequences of the same suit can be moved as a whole. The empty space in the column can be placed with any card.
Draw more cards
When there are no more possible moves or you want to add a challenge, click to draw cards from the stock pile.
Each time you draw, a new card is added to each column of 10 cards in total, only being drawn when there are no empty columns.
Complete sequence removal
When you have a complete sequence from K to A of the same suit, that sequence is automatically removed from the table and continues until there are no more cards left.
How challenging is Spider Solitaire Two Suits?
In particular, you can challenge yourself in Solitaired where there are many different game genres to help you freely choose to entertain with thoughtful card-stacking gameplay and many different difficult versions.
Medium complexity
- With two suits, you need to pay attention to many different sequences, you cannot move cards as easily as in the 1 suit version. However, because there are only 2 suits, you still have more possibilities to move and combine than in the 4 suits version.
- So this version is only one of the versions with medium challenge but requires a calculated strategy to win the game.
Strategy and observation
- Plan a few steps ahead, avoid blocking important cards.
- Temporarily mixing other suits is necessary to open a new hand, but if you arrange it wrong, you will have difficulty creating a complete sequence.
- Keeping at least one empty column as long as possible is the key to help you move flexibly.
Relative win rate:
- If you have experience, you can win about 50-60% of the games, while beginners only win about 20-30%.
- Luck when dealing the first cards also affects, but the strategy of managing the empty column is the decisive factor.
